                I feel fine, thank you. But my son is not well.我的儿子病了。

A father is trying to talk his daughter Katie into doing something.

Let’s listen to their conversation.

Dialogue

Dad: Katie, It’s getting late. You should go to sleep.

Katie: I can’t. I have tons of homework to finish.

Dad: If you don’t go to sleep soon, you’ll be tired tomorrow.

Katie: But I need to stay up and study.

Dad: Studying is good but you also need to take care of your health.

Katie: Don’t you want me to do well in school?

Dad: Yes, but your health is more important to me.

Katie: Well, to tell you the truth, I was getting a headache. I’ll go to sleep soon..

Dad: Good. I don’t want to see you having panda eyes in the morning.

Katie: Thanks, dad. Good night.

Dad: Good night.

Mark, does this dad sound just like you?

Well, it sure was familiar to me.

But my children have grown up now.

After seeing the doctor, I was well again.

For I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners.”

The Bible tells us Jesus was invited to someone’s home.

                圣经告诉我们，耶稣到一个人家裡作客。

Among the guests were many tax-collectors and sinners.

                一同坐席的，有好些稅吏和罪人。

The Jewish people hated and despised the tax-collectors.

                犹太人很厌恶也瞧不起稅吏。

Because they worked for the Roman government which was opposing them.

                因为当时罗马政府压制他们，而稅吏是政府的走狗。

And they always demanded more money than they were supposed to.

                他们经常向人们強收额外的稅金，

so they could keep the extra themselves.

                好能夠饱入自己的私囊。

No one wanted to associate with them.

                沒有人要和他们来往。

But Jesus talked with them and ate with them.

                但是耶稣和他们谈话並一起吃饭。

The teachers of the law were very angry.

                犹太人的律法师对此非常的生气。

They said, Why did Jesus eat with the tax-collectors and sinners?

                他们說，为什麼耶稣和稅吏並罪人一同吃饭呢？

And Jesus said to them,  

“For I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners.”

                嗯，也难怪耶稣对他们說：”我来，本不是召义人，乃是召罪人。”

 

 

                Mark, those who are sick need a doctor. 病人需要医生。

Mmm…And Those who are sinners need a Savior.

                罪人也需要救主。

We might feel that we are morally just and without sin.

                我们可能认为自己道德良好，品行端正。       

But deep inside us, we know we are not holy.

                但在內心深处，我们都知道自己並不圣洁。

We have jealousy and hatred toward others.

                我们会嫉妒人怨恨人。

Our thoughts are not pure, and our actions are many times evil.

                我们的意念並不纯正，我们的行为也常常充满了邪恶。

Mark, that means we are sick spiritually.我们灵性上生了病.

Yes. We are all sinners.

世上每个人都犯了罪。

Jesus is our spiritual doctor and our Savior.

                耶稣是我们属灵的大医生，也是我们的救主。

Whoever goes to Him, will be healed and saved.

                凡归向祂的人，都必得到医治和拯救。
